Het park beslaat 85,46 km² en omvat de Midden-Odravallei en de samenvloeiing van de rivier de Nysa Łużycka.
Het park beschikt over een uniek poldersysteem van overstromingsvlakten, waaronder de Krzesin-Bytomiec-polder, die seizoensgebonden overstroomt.
