Szumy na Tanwi is a stunning natural attraction located in the Roztocze region of Poland, near the village of Rebizanty in Susiec municipality. The name "Szumy" means "noise" or "murmuring" in English, referring to the sound created by the small waterfalls. Series of Waterfalls: The site features 24 rock steps that form a series of small picturesque waterfalls cascading over rock thresholds. Recognition: Named one of the seven wonders of Poland by National Geographic Magazine Poland. Geological Formation: The waterfalls were formed naturally millions of years ago through tectonic movements that elevated rock plates in the Roztocze region. River System: The Tanew river and its tributary (called the Deer river) meander through the rock thresholds, creating these natural "murmurs".
