About libelo
We belong to a living world we've stopped paying attention to. Somewhere along the way, people started treating nature as scenery, a backdrop to lives spent producing, consuming and optimising. Libelo exists to reverse that: we build technology that pulls you outside, not further in, so you can reconnect with the natural world and, through it, with yourself.
Our philosophy
We believe attentive presence in nature is how humanity finds its way back to harmony. Not performance, not productivity: presence. Real growth doesn't require effort. What gives it substance is attention and care, or what we might simply call love.
Nature isn't an escape from modern life. It's the foundation modern life was built on and has slowly drifted from. Libelo begins there.
How Libelo works
Before we suggest where to go, we want to understand where you are, not just your location, but your state: how your body feels, how your mind is, what you need today. Someone carrying exhaustion needs a different kind of outing than someone carrying restlessness. Libelo learns to read that and proposes an adventure, through movement or stillness, that brings you closer to yourself.
There's no single right way to be in nature. Walk, cycle, paddle, forage, sit, or simply watch: it's yours to choose. We show you the possibilities. You decide what to step into.
We are a mobile app that helps you find harmony in nature, on your own terms.
The technology behind it
Underneath every recommendation sits a living nature knowledge graph: species, ecosystems, seasonal rhythms, local rules, points of interest and natural highlights, continuously updated from national parks, biodiversity databases and our own community of explorers. An AI companion uses this data, together with how you're feeling, to guide you toward the right adventure, so your time outdoors is shaped by real understanding, not guesswork.
But Libelo is, at its core, about community. We're building the ground where people meet around what they share: a relationship with the living world. A place to flag a hazard on a trail, share a local initiative, or plan an outing together. People protect what they know. People know what they pay attention to. We grow that attention together.
Where we're headed
Libelo launched in May 2026 across Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium, and we're building toward every national park and nature space in Europe, in partnership with the parks, rangers and conservation organisations who know these places best. Our ambition is bigger than an app: a world where technology doesn't compete with nature for your attention, but leads you back to it, until humanity finds its way back into harmony with the living world it belongs to.
