Part of Tatra National Park
Czarnostawiańska Siklawa – a cascading waterfall in the Polish High Tatras, falling from the threshold of Czarnostawiański Basin in Rybi Potok Valley, above Morskie Oko. It is formed by the waters of Czarnostawiański Stream, flowing from Black Lake beneath Rysy and flowing into Morskie Oko. This stream falls in waterfalls at two locations – directly below Black Lake (approximately 1570 m above sea level) and several dozen meters above the surface of Morskie Oko (approximately 1460 m). Czarnostawiańska Siklawa refers to either the upper or lower cascades. This trail runs somewhat to the west of Czarnostawiański Stream and its waterfalls, but they are visible from it.
