A 20-by-10-metre pond in the Liptov region, fed by a borehole from 500 m down that keeps the orange-tinted mineral water at 33 °C all year, bathing in falling snow is the classic Kalameny experience. Free, half a metre deep with a pebble bottom, next to the road below Liptov Castle hill. No facilities and it gets busy on winter weekends.
