The Alpin live-Klettersteig near Bludenz in Vorarlberg is a serious route graded E/F; near the top of the difficulty scale. It comes in two variants with three sections each that you can mix and match. The left route is slightly easier overall; the right pushes harder, especially on the final section. The real challenge here is that you don't just climb up: you have to climb back down the same route. That's the crux. Plan 30 to 40 minutes for the climbing itself, plus 10 minutes to get to the base and another 5 for the descent, so roughly 1.5 hours total. The route has solid safety gear (steel cables and good steps), making it suitable for serious climbers and training purposes. Teens 14 and older can attempt it with proper experience. Access is straightforward: drive to the end of the road at the Lünerseebahn valley station (a 6km climb from Brand). The season runs June through October. This is not a casual outing: only go if you're comfortable on the harder end of klettersteigs and prepared for a demanding push.
