The Green Lung is a beautiful nature development park of about 7 hectares, within walking distance of the center of Kuurne. The park forms a green oasis where nature, recreation and education go hand in hand. Visitors can walk along ponds, marsh zones and boardwalks, enjoy a standard fruit orchard with old fruit varieties, an oak avenue and a wide variety of plants and animals. Families will also find something to their liking thanks to the play forest, the play hill and the meadows with donkeys and sheep. The Green Lung is freely accessible from sunrise to sunset and has become one of the most beautiful places to relax in Kuurne. (kuurne.be)
