The route connects the Gaislochsteig and leads toward the AV-Steig, so it's best done as part of a linked ferrata tour rather than as a standalone objective. Very wet conditions in summer make the metal ladders slippery and require caution and good glove grip. In winter, it becomes frozen and snow-covered, making it serious and potentially dangerous.
